Last Tuesday was a beautiful fall day in Portland. The sun was shining and the leaves are turning. We took advantage of the day and headed out for adventure. First stop: the zoo to visit the baby elephant. Samudra was born at the end of August. Priya would have loved seeing him if she hadn't fallen asleep.
Second stop: the Portland Tram. The aerial tram connects the main campus of the Oregon Health Sciences University (where Ami works), which sits high on the hill overlooking downtown and the Willamette River, to the expansion of the campus on the riverfront. It offers amazing views of downtown, the Willamette River, and Mt. Hood which you can see in the background. Priya made a fuss until we took her out of the stroller so she could see.
Speaking of fusses, you can see why Priya has been a bit fussy and sleeping less at night in the picture below. It is the little white thing sticking out above her bottom lip. She has 2 more just like it!!
