We are having an amazing October in Portland. It has only rained a few days and we have had several beautiful sunny days. I really think Ami's mom brings good weather with her.
We took advantage of one such gorgeous day on Sunday to hop on the Mt. Hood Railroad, which is a scenic train ride from Hood River up towards Mt. Hood. The train goes 1.5 hours up to a small town called Parkdale where you stop for a snack and a beer. Then it returns to Hood River. Now is a perfect time to take the trip as the leaves are full of fall color.
